Guest tak1
This weekend I bought a Magellan 315 from Canadian Tire for $219. (I got like 27 Candadian Tire Dollars) And I was just wondering what is the difference between bearing and course-to-steer. LK Manitoba, Canada Quote Link to comment
Guest 300mag
Bearing is the direction "degrees" to use to get to the destination.Course to steer is to put you back on THE RIGHT TRACK.If you have a bearing of 300 degrees but you are walking at 320 degrees the course to steer will be 20 degrees W .Course to steer is simply to put you on the right bearing. It tells you the diference you are off from the bearing. Hope this helps [This message has been edited by 300mag (edited 08 May 2001).] Quote Link to comment
