The Man
So any truth to the rumor that the clues in the TV show push Nevada lead to GPS coordinates and that they are using caches to move clues around? Quote Link to comment
umc
huh, *Honey, bring me my GPS because I'm lost* When and where is that show on? Quote Link to comment
+Gloom
So just how would the answer to wednesday's clue ($1,045,000) be turned into caching coords? ---- Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Quote Link to comment
+georgeandmary
I think the clue is just 1045 not 1045000. If you go though the web page clues you get a few different mentions of 1045 george Remember: Half the people you meet are below average. Quote Link to comment
+bvgps
Check the website http://www.dmvf.com/ (seen during the first show) to find the clues. The first show was callws The Amount - and clue is $1,045,000. The 2nd show was called The Black Box and the clue is TELEVISION. Episode 3 will be called The Color of... according to the ABC site. bvgps Quote Link to comment

I simply couldn't help thinking about GPS coords when I watched the first eposode. Too much coincidental information (like in the scene where Prufrock checks into the hotel..."the NORTH wing is off limits", followed by a shot of a few numbers which could have easily been translated into a North coordinate). Should prove interesting! Can't wait to see more! Always wear proper caching safety equipment! Quote Link to comment
+The Cheeseheads
Wasn't "who Wants to be a Millionaire" playing on the screen on the gas pump, with Regis saying something like "You're only 15 questions away from winning $1,045,000!"? If you go the the website, you can also download a copy of the fax that looks like an audit sheet, and if you play with the numbers, you come up with the same number as a descrepancy... - - - - - Wisconsin Geocaching Association Quote Link to comment
+georgeandmary
If you play the robbery video clips, the hand that takes the bible off the shelf has 1045 written on the back of it. In the article about the guy who won the slot jackpot of $500000, it explains that he spent 1045 silver dollars to win the jackpot. What's up with that? george Remember: Half the people you meet are below average. Quote Link to comment
