Highest Altitude Caches?

What are the Highest altitude caches around? I just logged a cache at the top of Mt. Adams here in Washington. It is the highest cache in the Immediate few states nearest at 12,270ft. Where would you find higher caches? Colorado maybe?

I hear that the tops of very high mountains have log books on them to be signed by those reaching the summit. In some sense, that makes them some 'super-geocaches'. I suppose someone could go to the top of Mt. Everest, and leave an ammo box of fast-food toys to complete things and make it a real cache! Imagine hearing someone shout "Oh no! I scaled Mt. Everest and I forgot my keychain fob! Sigh... TNLN..."

Check out the Highpointers Club at http://highpointers.org. They list all the high points in the U.S. Rhode Island's is at only 812 feet, and there are a couple of geocaches near it (i.e., the Virtual Rhode Island Highest cache and Rhode Island Highest cache). I also believe there is a cache near the Connecticut high point.

There is a virtual on Mt Whitney at the summit.

 

Also, there is a virtual called "H is for Highpoint".

 

Thus, every highest spot in every county in the US is covered.
