cachew nut
While still leading, our previous 33% has dropped to 30%. LiveJournal has increased to 13%. Looks like we will need much more votes to hold the lead to the very end. I'd suggest voting if you haven't done so yet. Quote Link to comment
cachew nut
It's starting to spiral downward. 29% to 14% today. Quote Link to comment

cachew nut
hey, what happened to the thread that was always on top? Quote Link to comment
iryshe
Accidentally deleted. Though are % score is going down, no one is really gaining on us, so far. Just a lot more write-ins cause all the percentages to go down. I'm still afraid we'll get down to the last few days and someone will jump out of nowhere. It pretty much goes to whoever has the most votes. Sadly, the actual event has been cancelled. Instead they replaced it with an online ceremony. If you listen carefully you can hear a soft death rattle. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Quote Link to comment
TeamJiffy
The event has been cancelled? That really is sad to hear! They can't even pull together enough money to rent a room at the local community center? +cachew nut
Down to 25% Looks like a write-in is gaining really fast at 21%, should overtake geocaching pretty soon. How many people can there be in Prince George's county anyway? Quote Link to comment

Brian - Team A.I.
I think the only one we really have to worry about is the We The People site, as the All Other Write-Ins encompasses all the others with totals too low to show individually. As of now, we still have a 6% lead. Brian Team A.I. Quote Link to comment
MarcB
Ok...I find that "we the people" site very, very creepy... In an alien abduction/"Independance Day" kind of way MarcB Took Log Book, Left Nothing Quote Link to comment
Florafloraflora
Ew! Seriously creepy. Red spinning globe? Yikes. I live right next to PG County and with all due respect it's not the type of place I associate with community spirit or competent government. Not that there's anything wrong with trying to promote those things. But I'll eat my shoe if a majority of web surfers really chose that as their favorite site over GC.com. Quote Link to comment
cachew nut
I just voted again, which is legal in Chicago. According to an email Jeremy received, they are turning off the results tomorrow. If you haven't voted then do so because I have a feeling that's when the PG County write ins will be the heaviest. Quote Link to comment
Allen_L
I am voting for geocaching.com Georgia style, early and often (at least once a day) Quote Link to comment
TotemLake
Geocaching.com is now back to 31% while We The People are at 20%. I just had Mrs. TL cast her vote in. Cheers! TL [This message was edited by TotemLake on May 21, 2003 at 07:54 AM.] Quote Link to comment
cachew nut
WTP is back up to 21%. I find it very hard to believe that there could be so many people there in that little county that could be so intent on beating us. Quote Link to comment
cachew nut
Ah, now I understand. Some cheating going on. Quote Link to comment
