Someone just needs to make a thorough list. rdw Quote Link to comment
+VentureForth
A minor problem is that when someone votes, the poll doesn't get bumped to the top of the forum. Therefore, polls like the one I did will just fall away into obscurity unless someone posts. This is a bummer, 'cause a good poll needs no comments, but can be tossed off the front page in a matter of hours. Venture Forth, out to the wild, wet forest... Quote Link to comment

There's still the problem of a lack of posts keeping the item from bumping to the top, but chances are there won't be so many polls that they will drop off the list very quickly (and it looks like the paging system of these new forums keeps the last X items always visible, rather than hiding those that are more than Y days old). Then, discussion of polls elsewhere in the forums would drive activity to the polls forum. Not a perfect solution, but it might help.
