+GOT GPS?
I was watching Nasa TV today, and the show today was on Earthquakes. Apparently they are using precise GPS readings in Millimeters, and they have these remote stations in several places. These GPS units measure deforming and movement of the earth's crust over time, but not the actual Quakes. Links to some interesting stuff: Using GPS to measure earthquakes Movement of Earth's tectonic plates QuakeMap, GPS, and Geocaching Using the Global Positioning System to Measure Volcano Deformation Our GPS units don't even compare to these.
