Guest DaveA Posted September 2, 2001 Posted September 2, 2001 e too expensive or complex to be complied with anyway. Just do it if you want to and let the NPS deal with it. Having said all of that, I would much rather go cache hunting on non NPS land. I like going to places in the middle of civilization that nobody knows about. Those are the coolest for me. Quote
Guest Weedhopper Posted September 2, 2001 Posted September 2, 2001 Pardon this question--exactly what areas does the NPS control, other than the National Parks and Monuments? What about National Recreation Areas? Are those forbidden territory also? Quote
Guest jxs2151 Posted September 2, 2001 Posted September 2, 2001 Someone asked what the NPS controls. Last month National Geographic did a *great* article on government controlled lands, including maps. I am betting that most of us who live in the east are amazed at how much land out west is public property.
