Caches in your area?

296 for me. There was an old thread on this I think... bah. Don't feel like searching. I think, however - I did a stats thing while getting ready for our GeoPicnic.

 

The graph below shows caches placed in the Chicago area since the beginning of caching. It does NOT take into account when the caches were archived - it's just cumulative.

 

Interestingly enough, when I did this graph last year in July, although the scale was different, it looked pretty much the same!

There are 194 within a 100 mile radius. That is more than I thought considering one quadrant is the ocean.

 

I have not been keeping a running total, but this is certainly up from last November.

I just checked and there are 907 in the 100 mile radius of my zip 94566. It is only 50 miles to the Pacific ocean. The cache population grows almost daily around the Bay Area. There are 59 or so East Bay Regional Parks.
