Shhheeeesh...

Seattle and rain...goes together just like a nose for glasses. Unless you wear them on top of your head like I do.

...now where did them fool glasses go.

Today it's extremely windy, about 58°, garbage cans blowing across the roads, branches falling everywhere, even the dumpster lid blew open, and my mom is on a plane!!! icon_eek.gif I'm glad I'm not in the woods today. Our foliage is getting near peak if the leaves hang on long enough, and the ticks are still out there in full force, I found four on me the other day. It was completely sunny this morning with blue skies, but it was so windy there was rain coming from afar, and I needed my wipers, now THAT was weird!

High 64 today, low tonight of 42; last night 1.5 inches of rain in four hours -- now clear skies and winds out of the west over the Chesapeake Bay at 18-36 knots... the perfect geocaching weather...

Really, really windy today. Gusts over 50 mph. I stayed out of the part of the house that has a huge oak tree hanging over it.

Partly sunny most of the day, but there were a few clouds that brought light drizzle. Overnight temps in the 30's. My basil plants are dying. Time to make pesto!

Cold and rainy. The snow is now here for the winter and the high elevation caches will be inaccessable without snowshoes & a 4x4 soon.

It actually isn't too bad yet. But the rain makes it feel colder.

42*F right now, highs in the 50*fs and lows in the high 30*Fs

Record heat. 100°. Haven't had weather this hot for a couple of decades. Should be 100° this weekend. Nights are pleasant though.

Here in Dallas the weather is prime for caching! The briars, poison ivy, and tall grass is drying out and the trails become more passable. The daytime high temp. is in the mid 70s F. Great sleeping weather ~ the night temps are in the 50s or lower.

Finally we get a break from hellish electric bills for A/C! icon_biggrin.gif

Ditto in south Georgia, but like Corp of Discovery stated about Chicago...IF you don't like the weather around here, wait a couple of hours...it will be different!!

Yesterday, rain & wind.

Last night, torrential rain.

Today, rain & fog.

Forecast for tonight & weekend, rain, rain, rain, scattered showers, torrential rain at times, heavy rainfall warning.

At least it is warm, you could walk around in a t-shirt & have a shower if the water in your apartment has been cut off.

Hey Cachewidow - I miss Victoria. Used to do lot's of SCUBA diving up there. I rememeber the Breakwater, and also Henderson Point and Oak Bay. Now I am stuck in the NorthEast where it's starting to drizzle a bit and getting down to the high 30's tonight. The leaves have turned and soon it will be "colder than a witch-digger's brass monkey"

Juliamark, today we actually saw daylight, through the cloud cover. The monsoon has let up a bit, but got 129mm rain in 24hrs Thursday & Friday. The grass is nice and green, though, gotta get out there & mow soon.

My lawn was brown all summer now it is turning green again!
OH GREAT... NOW I'LL HAVE TO START MOWING AGAIN!

Just what I needed... one more reason to hate the rain.

Yeah, I probably would gripe if y'all hung me with a new rope.

Overshadowing every silver lining there is a huge dark cloud!

I'm sick of the rain... when is summer going to get here?
