Anybody use an ATV to hide a cache ?

I was curious if using my ATV to hide a cache deep in the woods would be a waist of time and effort. I guess it would also depend on how many people have an ATV and where the cache would be placed.

I wouldn't worry about it Ed. There is no place that you can go on an ATV that a determined person couldn't reach on foot (or mt. bike, or horse, etc). Some people love a challenge. Hide it and they will come.

I think almost ALL of the first 5 or 10 caches in Oregon were placed by people on dirtbikes and/or horses...

 

they generally were findable by foot, but I always wished I had a dirtbike or a horse also

This is what i will be doing this week.Get the atv out and finish placing this new multy point cache.I could got by foot but the atv will save me some time which i don't have much this week I want the cache to be ready before the weekend so cachers could go and hit it if they want.
