Guest Growley Posted July 22, 2001 Share Posted July 22, 2001 I just got an eTrex Legend last week and have had SA 8.0 for a while. Does anyone know if it is possible to upload a route that I plot on SA 8.0 to the Legend and vice-versa? I am having trouble getting it to work. Quote Link to comment
Guest gstrong1 Posted July 22, 2001 Share Posted July 22, 2001 Growley.Yes, it is very easy.At least it is with my eTrex Vista so it should be with the Legend.After you plan your route,connect the Legend via the interface cable, go to the GPS drop down menu & initialize the GPS.After that ,you can go to the drop down menu again & there will be the option to upload to GPS.Make sure you have set the right COM port in the preferences.I believe the Legend should take the route as the Vista does.-Gimpy- ------------------ Gary "Gimpy" Strong Rochester,NY Quote Link to comment
