+Tahoe Skier5000
Depending on what version mapsource software you have, there is an option on the "open from GPS" menu to download tracks. Click on the icon up top with the arrow pointing away from the GPS. In the dialog box that pops up, there will be a checkbox next to "tracks". Make sure its checked. Click "Open" at the bottom of the dialog box and it should transfer to your computer. Using Opera 7.1 [This message was edited by volks_ev71 on July 27, 2003 at 02:30 PM.] [This message was edited by volks_ev71 on July 27, 2003 at 02:31 PM.] Quote Link to comment
RowdyJim
The have version 2.0 of mapsource which does not have the option in "open from GPS" that Volks ev71 discussed earlier. Anyone else have any suggestions. Thanks Volks for the suggestion. Quote Link to comment

If you can, download/install the newest version 5.0. The download is free and available HERE. Quote Link to comment
SergZak
Looking at the "change history" at the page I linked to above, I see the following (scroll all the way down): "Changes made from version 2.03 to 3.00: Added capability to transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks to and from the GPS." This means that version 2.0 of MapSource does NOT have the capability to transfer tracks, routes and waypoints to/from the GPS. I really think you need to get the latest version of MapSource.
