i've searched and searched but cannot the specification difference between the magellan meridian green gps and the meridian yellow/black? does anyone know a website that explains the difference? the magellan website does not show any difference but amazon.com has the yellow/black meridian for $219 and the green meridian gps for $189.

you will see there is a meridian gps and a meridian gps (yellow/black) that are about $30 price difference with not specifications attached. the yellow/black is not the gold because the gold is about $70 more than the yellow/black.

so i am wondering is amazon playing a game on consumers to get more for the yellow/black meridian when it is identical to the meridian green, or is there a real hardware difference between the two gpsr's

I'm sorry I just looked back at my source and you are correct... it seems I didn't follow the thread long enough to get the correct answer to that question. Here is what someone got directly from Magellan:

Magellan Website Contact Form

The Yellow and Black unit is the same as the Brown and Green unit. The only difference is the color of the case.
