I have a Garmin V that I am quite happy with although I would like a bit larger and color display. I noticed there is now a Garmin Street Pilot III Deluxe available. Although I would like it for general over-the-road navigation - is this a model that you would suggest for Geocaching? I don't think that it is WAAS enabled but I do like the color display and size of display. At this point just being curious - thanks in advance & HAPPY CACHING!!!! Quote Link to comment
+apersson850 Posted July 24, 2002 Share Posted July 24, 2002 Of course it works for geocaching, since it's portable, but if you check the battery run time, you'll see that it's mainly intended for vehicle use, where it can be powered externally.
