Guest RobRem
What types of topo software are folks using and how's the performance and compatability - especially with an e-trex legend. Quote Link to comment
Guest gstrong1
only choice you've got.DeLorme Topo USA 3.0 is nice software that gives you more detail for about half the price of Mapsource. But all you can load into the Legend is routes & waypoints. No maps. ------------------ Gary "Gimpy" Strong Rochester,NY Quote Link to comment
Guest topografix
For printing your own topo maps and sending waypoints to your GPS, try ExpertGPS at http://www.expertgps.com. You can use it to get maps and waypoint data for all 50 states. Other options are Maptech terrain navigator and National geographic's Topo, but these programs charge by the state for data. You can try ExpertGPS for free at http://www.expertgps.com/ ------------------ Dan Foster TopoGrafix: GPS Software, Waypoints, and Maps http://www.topografix.com Quote Link to comment
Guest Naum42
I perfer MapTech from www.maptech.com. They use high quality scans of the USGS 7.5 minute maps. Works great with my Magellan 315. Quote Link to comment
