SPINNER: sort by last found date?

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to figure out how to duplicate Watcher's Last Found function in Spinner, but I just can't seem to pull it off.

The stock Unfound template really isn't. It really only lists caches with no logs.

What I'm looking for is a list of caches that actually have not been found or not found in a while.

Any help?

It might not be possible as it apears that there isn't a last found date in the Groundspeak namespace. If Notes and DNFs take up the 5 slots, they push the last time the cache had been found off the list. We really don't know when the last time it's been found, if ever.

Should a Date_Last_Found be added to the namespace?

I've been doing a bunch of work over the last week or so creating and modifying my GPXSpinner templates. I've found a few deficiencies in the Groundspeak XML namespace. You mention one of them, date_last_found. Another is total_number_of_logs. That number is handy so you can tell if you expect the tell-tale "Geocacher Bumblebee dance trail".
