Fry's electronics stores have had the Meridian on sale every other week here recently, for $99.99. Last week it was the green, before that the yellow. The rebate applies to this unit only when you also buy one of their software maps.

Alas, it looks as if you've missed out for now on the great deal Meridian GPS. $149 seems to be the standard online price at any number of stores right now. When I got mine from oupost.com a couple of weeks ago for $110, their page said "while supplies last".

 

If you can wait, do so. A better deal will come soon. If you can't wait, then go ahead and buy. In a year you won't remember or care that you "overpaid" for something you use all the time.
