Guest bwware Posted July 17, 2001 Share Posted July 17, 2001 Just found out that Street Atlas 8.0 will NOT work on my laptop due to Video Card driver conflics. Does anyone have any ideas as to what software to buy that will allow me to input cache coords and it spit me out a route on how to get to it? I know the route wont take me right to it, but I would image the route would take me to the park/woods area NEAR the cache. Any ideas? Getting worried! My trip is this weekend and I have not a clue! Guest bob_renner Posted July 17, 2001 Share Posted July 17, 2001 I got a copy of MS Streets and Trips 2001 at Costco for $27 - $20 rebate. You can enter waypoints either manually or imported from a text file, and it will give you driving directions. Be aware that the driving directions are most likely the shortest route ON STREETS to the waypoint. You may end up on the wrong side of a mountain or canyon. However, at $7, I couldn't pass it up.
