+Oneyedjack Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Can someone point me in the right direction for software for my HP Jornada to download cache pages and information so I can go paperless while Geocaching? Quote

+shunra Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Shunra... GPXSonar can be found ... by following the link in my sig. Thanx, found it! I see you're the architect... Can you confirm that it will work on an HP Jornada, as suggested earlier in this thread? I didn't see any reference to it on your page. Quote
+-=(GEO)=- Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Shunra... Does the HP Jornada run PPC 2002 or 2003 (ARM Processor)? These OS versions are the only hard requirement for GpxSonar. Quote

No It has an SH3 processor, and runs Windows CE v. 3.0 If it won't run GPXSonar, is there anything else it can run for geocaching? Quote
+Renegade Knight Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 The GPXview link is dead but you can find a bunch of links here: GPXview might work on an older PDA but may not. http://www.geocaching.com/waypoints/ Quote
+shunra Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 The actual link for Pocket Cache Thanks - we'll check that one out! Quote
+Oneyedjack Posted April 29, 2004 Author Posted April 29, 2004 (edited) GSAK was the answer for my Jornada 540 and me. After setting a filter and uploading it to my Meriplat you can then export HTML files to a folder that gets synced to the Jornada. It works great! Just what I was looking for, and simple too.
