Putting GeoCaching Waypoints on a Streets Program

Now that I have my streets program working with my GPS and Laptop, I would like to be able to mark Geocaches into the Streets program so that I can see where they are located and plot routes.

Anyone know of a way to do that? I was hoping I could use EasyGPS to export in excel format and then import them into the Streets program, but I can not see a way to do that with EasyGPS.

Thanks

Create a file with a .txt extension. Use the format as follows. Latitude and longitude must be converted to a decimal notation by taking the minute portion and dividing by 60. The information and Name fields can be anything but I like to use the latitude, longitude and waypoint names so that when I display the pushpins in streets I see the info I really need.

Latitude,Longitude,Information,Name41.4670,-90.5735,N41°28.024 W090°34.411,GC747 Hawk's Nest!!!41.4679,-90.5707,N41°28.075 W090°34.246,GC9A8 Black Hawks's Cache40.1220,-88.9215,N40°07.322 W088°55.291,GC2F Geocache (found)40.5722,-89.8063,N40°34.332 W089°48.386,GC475 Glasford40.0972,-88.5390,N40°05.833 W088°32.340,GC4C2 Shady Rest

After you have the file created take the import data option off of the file menu. Change the file type to Text and select your file that you just created. Push the next button and then the finish button. You now should have pushpins imported into streets. I have used this quite a bit and would really like to see the geocaching site provide some sort of method to produce this file for us. For the money, Microsoft Streets 2001 is a great deal. I got my copy for $7 (after $20 rebate) at Sams Club.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! Is there a easy way of creating that text file without cutting and pasting from each geocache listing on here for my area?

Any way to export it?
