I bought a sportrak pro and loved it, but then realized that the insides of the meridian series is basically the same and they offer expandable memory! Plus I can use a SD card usb writer and not have to use a serial port which my computer doesn't have. Quadifiler Helix antenna also! I mean I looked at what garmin had to offer and their comparable model the etrex yellow doesn't have the capability to upload maps and it isn't even WAAS compatible and just a patch antenna.
