justincredible76
I'm looking at these packages. Does the Topo version contain the same street info as the streets version? What I want to know is, if I buy the Topo version will I get the same thing as the Streets version plus the Topo software? I want maps of streets and topography, but I don't want two pieces of software. thx Quote Link to comment
+JetSkier
Yes. The maps are the same. TOPO adds ... well, the TOPO info. I have Streets & Dest AND TOPO. Streets & Dest gives me different POIs than TOPO. I use the Card Utilities menu item to switch between the two. Quote Link to comment
+phantom4099
Plain mapsend streets (not S&D, but the one that came free with the 330) lacks some of the "trail" and "4x4" routes that topo and S&D contains. Clown Knife
I bought the MapSend Topo USA and I love it. It has all the street info plus the topo data. I use it to navigate in street mode and it is great! The topo stuff is the gravy; not many hiking trails...but everything else is there. The search features are decent. Read the manual and use all the features. Great device is my MeriPlat! Quote Link to comment
