PhantomPhixer Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 Howdy all, Quick question, perhaps someone here may know. I bought a brand new Meridian Platinum GPS (Darn nice too) to replace my aging and and far too eccentric Map330X unit. I was wondering if I could use the power (Cig lighter) adapter cable that came with the 330X with the MeriPlat also? The cables all really look the same, but I'd like to avoid frying my MeriPlat like an egg As an aside, has anyone had their Map330x unit just suddenly refuse to pick up satelites? I took it on a trip with my motorcycle and it performed great, but ever since I returned from the trip, it has been useless at best. Will not lock on, tried to do every reset/clear memory known to man on it, no luck. Many thanks in advance. Bill "If at first you don't succeed, failure may be your style..." Quote
+Ranz Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 The Cable will work fine. I used a 315 cable on my MeriGold up until just a couple of days ago. The power input requirements for this series of Magellans appears to be the same. Quote
