Easy GPS to Map Source

Is there a way to transfer data from Easy GPS to Map Source?

I just download and save any waypoints/routes that are in my GPS that I need. Then I clear the GPS user database.

Then I download all the info I want to transfer between the two programs to my GPS.

Then I upload that info from my GPS into the other program, then save it.

 

It works, as long as you're transfering only as much as what your GPS can hold.

I download to easygps,then up to my gps, then from my gps to mapsource. If you perfer you can clear your gps, or just save whats on your gps to a mapsource page, then upload from easy gps, if you have memory issues, you'll have to erase your gps. It works though, I use both.

Open the EasyGPS *.loc file with Geobuddy and then do a "save as" to Mapsource. Saves a few steps.

There's a program that will do this also. You can open multiple instances of EasyGPS data and merge them all and then convert them to MapSource waypoints. It's called geobuddy and you can get it from

Another interesting program I've found is one that displays in 3D the current track data. It's on my site here:

These are 2 extremely useful programs that are both free! I have nothing to do with either author and hopefully they won't be upset with me putting them on my site. I just wanted to make it easy for me to always have access to them!
