Check out the GPS I saw on the Degree confluence page.

GPS? Phone?

At this confluence: 61°N 26°E

The visitor to this confluence seems to have the same unit.

Also... this unit sure looks a lot like a Magellan to me.

Anyone have one of these?

The benfon looks really good, but about 800€ here in Germany. I looked to see if it would be cheaper with an air time contract but had no luck.

The Ashtech in the other picture is a Magellan, or at least, it is a Thales navigation product.

(I dont have one though)

Jamie, you have spotted a multi-navigator from Swedish instrument and compassmakers Silva. Here in Scandinavia a compass is about equivalent to a Silva...

In the US the Multi Navigator GPS is sold under the Brunton trademark. REI has carried them in the past - don't know if they still do. It looked relatively big and expensive and lacked a map page.

The probability of someone watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your actions.

Yep, got one. The GPSmart has a pretty good antenna (roughly the same as my Sportrak), the unique advantage of both Bluetooth and a screen (other bluetooth units, so far, don't have a screen), and an easy user interface similar to my eMap.

Downside: it uses AAA batteries (quickly).

Overall it is useful for combining with an iPaq for voice guidance and then as a handheld unit to go find the cache.
