add another garmin vista to the tally. i've found that with the addition of the metroguide maps, it's absolutely FANTASTIC.

i am new to the GPS scene but even so, when i got the vista, i was actually shocked at everything the unit could do.

Magellan ColorTrak, big, clunky, resilient, waterproof, reliable, 30hour battery life. Mine has logged 85000+ miles in 18 months.

eTrex Legend.

Thought yellow eTrex was cool but Legend with WAAS, 9 feet error!

Exit numbers for highway exits and buoys built in is real slick.

Magellan GPS315

Has anyone noticed the life of the batteries increase after upgrading to version 3.14? I moved last night from 2.05(I know it was a version 2 something). Just wondering.

Hope to do my first Geo this weekend.
