Guest xsintrik Posted October 7, 2001 Share Posted October 7, 2001 I have a Garmin eTrex Legend, and I was thinking that Garmin should make the Icon set and the "Accessories" separate downloads from the operating system. That way people could create thier own Icon sets or thier own "Accessories" programs and download them into thier units. I don't use the Hunting & Fishing calculator, but I would love a Daymap display. I don't use my Legend for boating, but I do mountain bike a lot and I would like to be able to install icons that I would actually use. It would be nice to be able to only install the "Accessories" programs that you want or actually use. If any of y'all like these ideas, forward them to Garmin. Maybe if they hear it from enough customers they will impliment these changes. If not in the current units OS, then maybe in a future unit. Quote Link to comment
