+infosponge
Now that the Meridians can move data (waypoints, tracks, routes) around in files on the SD memory card, does anyone know a good way to get ExpertGPS to read/write those files directly to the SD card if you have a card reader? It would be cool to have different waypoint "folders" and be able to use ExpertGPS to manage them. Quote Link to comment

Send me some GPS data (both the.loc format and whatever file ends up on the SD card) and I'll see what I can do about writing an import/export function for ExpertGPS. http://www.expertgps.com/support.asp -- Dan Foster TopoGrafix: GPS Software, Waypoints, and Maps http://www.topografix.com/ Quote Link to comment
+infosponge
Dan...sorry this fell off the end of my to-do list. This would be a great feature to add...do you still need me to send the data files? I can get them to you ASAP. Quote Link to comment

Ideally I'd like the data file, and a matching .loc file from ExpertGPS with the same data in it. -- Dan Foster TopoGrafix: GPS Software, Waypoints, and Maps http://www.topografix.com/ Quote Link to comment
Dirtnapper
Is this feature still under consideration? This would really be nice. de mortuis nil nisi bonum Quote Link to comment
+ClayJar
The format for the data in the files is the same format used for serial communications with the receiver. It's documented online (one URL is http://celia.mehaffey.com/allory/mag-proto.htm). If you also still need a sample, I'm sure I can make one. Quote Link to comment
+infosponge
I sent a sample of the files into TopoGrafix last week. It would be really cool to have this supported in a future version of ExpertGPS. Quote Link to comment
