+skeeter-n-lucy
Is there any way to get around this limit in the software when downloading regions? If not does the unit(merigold) seamlessly go from one to the other?? I am using a SD card so I have 64 MB avail... Quote Link to comment
+infosponge
Yes, you can override the limit...check the yahoo Meridian group for the specifics. Your best bet for ease of use and flexibility is an (inexpensive) SD card reader/writer that plugs into a USB port on your computer. No, the GPS will not seamlessly move from one region to another. It's easy to do it manually with firmware 3.12 or higher. At first glance, this may seem like a bonehead lack of functionality, but in fact it allows multiple overlapping regions of different sources (Topo, S&D, whatever). Quote Link to comment
