GPS V Question -- paging through Lists

Recommended Posts

I noticed in the GPSV documentation today that when scrolling through long lists (like waypoints, waypoint icons, points of interest, etc) you can jump to the next page by pushing the Rocker Button to the left or right.

Kewl feature but the trouble is it doesn't work.

On my GPSV I have to scroll all the way through such lists. The page up/down feature just isn't working.

I'm wondering if anyone else has got it to work?

My old GPSMAP 76 used to do this and I thought it was a great idea. I was bummed out to find that it was broken on the GPS V.

The "GPS V Quirks" thread here in the forum had accumulated plenty of other bugs as well.

A better revision of firmware is most anticipated! icon_smile.gif

I feel better knowing it's not my unit.

I would have sworn it worked before I upgraded my firmware but I can't be certain.

Hopefully 2.03 will fix all the bugs. The fact that it's late in coming may be a good sign. Maybe they're taking their time and doing it right.

Or... it could mean it's all screwed up. icon_wink.gif
