All it is really good for is downloading the detailed map onto your unit if it's capable of holding maps. I also thought that I could get directions step by step just putting in address to address. NOT! For making routes and waypoints to transfer onto you Garmin the ExpertGPS seems by far a better and easier program. I would give the mapsource software credit for having a newer map of the streets but for the money it costs to buy the metroguide I would for sure wait for the new version to come out this month (looks like I will get free upgrade since date of purchase says Garmin). I would think that they would upgrade the new version CD so it's not so clumsy and have newer maps. Looks like I will have to purchase the ExpertGPS software soon(still using trial), I mean I like the MapBlast feature and the step by step driving directions that you can download into your Garmin with ExpertGPS and Mapblast seems to have the newer address' ------------------ Bought a eTrex Legend on 7/24/01 placed one cache Here --HomeChicken Quote Link to comment
