GISPro
Who had the instructions for making a power adaptor to plug your SporTrak into the car's cigarette lighter socket? I lost the URL. Quote Link to comment
dave and jaime
is this what youre looking for? id suggest thicker plastic(3/16") and machine screws for the contacts. the wires can then be soldered into the slots of the screws and if the plastic is thick enough (i used a wrench holder) the screws can be adjusted for length to give good contact. GISPro
I saw this a few weeks ago and it seemed like a lot of trouble. Then I took a trip last week and realized that extended power would be great. Thanks!!! Quote Link to comment

GISPro
I didn't know the power requirements and wanted to avoid burning up the receiver. Now I am looking for a cig adaptor to step down the voltage to 3.8 . Thanks for the cautionary note! Quote Link to comment
