Don Gregorio
Hello. Does anyone know of a mapping program that will automatically calculate driving directions? I recently purchased mapsend streets and destinations for my meridian. I was disappointed to see that I will need to plot each turn individually. Have I missed something? I am a newbie after all. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+JoGPS
Not all can but, I use DeLorme Street Atlas on my lap top, and on my Garmin V it does it also, both work very well.........JOE Quote Link to comment

+embra
For a Meridian, I think Street Atlas is about the only thing I know of that will do what you want (I'm presuming you couldn't use MapSource to shoot a route to a Magellan, maybe I'm wrong). I find that it works out pretty well, although I prefer to shoot the route over to ExpertGPS to edit out some frivolous waypoints that SA sticks in (feginning of exit ramp, end of exit ramp, etc). SA names the waypoint with the Name or number of the road you're looking for, so it works well. I like to use it with the road screen. I bought a used copy of Street Atlas (v. 8) just for this purpose. Max Often wrong but seldom in doubt Quote Link to comment
Don Gregorio
Thanks for all the speedy replies. I'm lookin into street atlas right now. Too bad the gps unit itself can't do that on the fly though. Again thanks for all the quick info. Quote Link to comment
