Guest 300mag
Do you have any suggestions on any mapping software.Since i live in Canada they aren't too easy to find. Most of them include usgs maps and these are useless to me.Does someone know of any programs that as Canadian maps or at least some prog..that i could use by scanning and using my own maps and then download all my different waypoints etc... Thanks Dan Also do you know if they are compatible with lowrance gm100 [This message has been edited by 300mag (edited 03-18-2001).] Quote Link to comment
Guest Digger
Not quite sure what you're after - but try GPS Utility at www.gpsu.co.uk - it allows you to scan in topo maps and use them as a base from which to calculate wapoints and routes (it does a lot more too). Quote Link to comment

Guest AB
You don't have to scan maps yourself. You can buy Topo maps of Canada on CD rom. Do a search on the net and you'll find a few sources. Regarding software, check my post at: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000080.html Quote Link to comment
Guest GeoTech
You can find FREE Canadian digital topo maps here: http://toporama.cits.rncan.gc.ca/ [This message has been edited by GeoTech (edited 24 April 2001).] Quote Link to comment
