I've used the MindIt service for a while now to notify me when a music venue's calendar is changed. It occured to me that I could also use it to notify me when Garmin posts a new software release for my Vista. I set it up a few weeks ago, and it works great!

Just specify the url for the download page. Mind it will check it periodically for changes (daily, if you wish), and email you when the page's contents have been changed.
