+DeltaKiowa Posted November 9, 2002 Share Posted November 9, 2002 A friend of mine has a Legend he has had since August. It has a problem of locking up or freezing. No keys or functions will work. The only way to restore funtions is to remove the battery and basically reboot the GPS. Has anyone else had this problem. DeltaKiowa Quote Link to comment
+eagleflyby Posted November 9, 2002 Share Posted November 9, 2002 I have nit had this problem but I have read many posts on the same and it seems that all you need to do is to go to the Garmin Website and download the new Software version for the legend. You'll find it under Support and it is free. If nothing else works, contact Garmin and they will fix the problem really fast, theyr Customer service is pretty good.
