Geonavigator
I'm using a 76S with BlueChart. No complaints. Works fine. The chart display is easy to read and use.The BlueChart Map page is detailed showing Navigation aids, depth, and Data fields. Other navigation pages display Compass heading and Highway. The 76S has Tide tables and Sun and Moon data. I don't get underway without the 76S! Quote Link to comment
1chz'er
Thank you again......Concerned on '76' display to view enough of channels within harbor. Majority of use within port. Really would prefer the smaller unit, '176' right on with display. All the best.............. Quote Link to comment
+mrmom
Once you start using the 176c, you'll never have any regrets. The unit is awesome both on the trails and cliped onto it's dashboard bracket. You'll never squint at a tiny monochrome screen again. You can select land or water optimized views. Geonavigating since 1991 Quote Link to comment
1chz'er
Finally went with the 176 and just starting to play around with it.Have to admit that right up until purchasing it, wasn't decided on which unit but at $400 it was just a little more than the 76s.Anyway you're right the screen is great. Thanks for the reply.
