Guest Lozsing
Can any one tell me is there a chance that mobile phones switched on near a gps will cause any problems ie like the electronic compass . Quote Link to comment
Guest LoCache
I haven't experienced any problems. I use a Kyocera Smartphone (Palm Pilot/CellPhone) while Geocaching at all times, and have never had a problem. Geo http://www.geopolitan.net/geotrex Quote Link to comment
Guest Fotogg
I have not had any problems. I use my cell phone all the time in the car. My GPS is mounted just a couple of feet away. Now my radar detector is another story. Quote Link to comment
Guest jeo
I keep my cell phone with me all the time when caching, and have not had a problem. I have heard if you have two GPS units within 5 feet of each other (when on) they will interfere with each other, although I don't know that first hand. Quote Link to comment
Guest Gliderguy
You know Garmin actually makes a cell-phone GPS combo? I would guess they dont interfere with each other much if someone can build them both into one box. Quote Link to comment
