Night Tracker Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 How do you upload mapsend data using an SD card reader. I have an 64 meg SD card and would like to at fill it with maps. I know it has to be broken doen into blocks but came anyone tell me how its done? Im a PC novice and you may have to be specific>>Thanks NT Quote Link to comment
+phantom4099 Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 First shut of unit, then get the region you want to upload ready. Then try to send them. It will create them, but it will give you an error because the unit is off. then go to c/programfiles/magellan/mapsend(whatever the name is)/export. Then copy the file maps (might end in img) to the SD card. There is also another folder(images) in the same area that has the region seperate, you can also copy these to the card. Wyatt W.
