Can I log this in and not have to worry about logging the LAT/LONG info in? NOt sure how to benifit from this info untill I know what it is. HELP!!!! "Use waypoint GC724" Quote Link to comment
Guest Rootbeer Posted October 21, 2001 Share Posted October 21, 2001 The GC1234 number is just a suggested name for the waypoint. If you download waypoints to your GPSr, the starting waypoint for that cache will have that name, which isn't likely to clash with any other waypoint names you've used. And even if you download a dozen sets of cache coordinates, when you go searching for that one cache, you'll be able to find it in your unit by that name. In the end, though, whether you download them or type them in, you still need the coordinates! Quote Link to comment
