+kevin917z
anyone know of any free software to convert .txt files into .loc or .gpx or something that will allow me to import massive amounts of gps coordinates from a data base. The only files available are .txt Quote Link to comment

+parkrrrr
Yeah, I haven't found a program that will convert my letters to Grandma into waypoints either. Let me know if you find one. Seriously, what's the format of these text files? If it's just comma separated values, GPSBabel will do what you want, but you might have to use the command line version rather than the GUI frontend, and you'll almost certainly have to read the documentation, especially the README.style file. If you got a prebuilt binary version of GPSBabel, you might not have the README.style file. In that case, go here. Quote Link to comment
