When I go to 'find' a waypoint the data entry 'keyboard' bit at the bottom always appears and I have to press the page button to get rid of it. I've only had the Legend for a week and it hasn't done this before. Have I inadvertantly altered one of the settings? How do I stop this happenening? It's really annoying. Guest bob_renner Posted September 18, 2001 Share Posted September 18, 2001 When you go to find a waypoint, the next screen is a selection between Nearest and By Name. The Nearest does not put up the "keyboard" while the By Name does. When you have more than a few waypoints in your GPSR, you need a way to select the one you want quickly, and having to scroll through 200 waypoints is not quick. Bob Quote Link to comment

Guest bob_renner Posted September 18, 2001 Share Posted September 18, 2001 Try scrolling through 500 waypoints for the one in the middle. Or try scrolling through the city database for one starting with M. Once you get used to the clickstick, it's not so bad. Bob Quote Link to comment
