+jtice
I have the newest software version on my etrex Vista... (3.20)... which is supposed to jump from 500 waypoints to 1,000. But, EasyGPS and Mapsource still say I have 500 when uploading to my GPSr. ( uploading 134/500 waypoints ). Is there a way to see if it will really hold 1,000? Does anyone with a Vista know if it really holds 1,000? Is it just the software that doesnt know the diference? Is the software not going to let me upload more than 500 sence it thinks thats the limit? Quote Link to comment
+GeneralBracket
1. EasyGPS will go over 500 no problem. (I've tested it.) 2. Upgrade EasyGPS and it'll say "Uploading xxxx/1000". 3. The Vista and the Legend with 3.20 firmware do in fact hold 1,000 waypoints. (I've tested that too.) 4. Update Mapsource. EDIT: Clairified the facts. +quakemap
There is no limitation on QuakeMap, and if these waypoints are from the .loc files you will see all the real cache names there. I will appreciate if you tell me how it worked for you. http://www.quakemap.com - redefining Easy... Quote Link to comment

+Bloencustoms
After the upgrade, you can store 10,000 trackpoints as well. Go to the map page, select setup map, select the track icon, then scroll down and change the points to 10,000. "The way eye" Quote Link to comment
