+jollybgood
Hey all, I just went to Verizon and upgraded my phone. They have a great deal on Pocket PC Phone (Thera). I've only been using it for a few hours but already I love it. I now have a PDA, phone and voice recorder bundled into one. Since I'm not up on the Pocket PC I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the "Must Have" apps and utilities are. Also, I recall seeing a link once for a PDA friendly geocaching website. Was I dreaming? I can't seem to find it now. Thanks for any advice you have to offer. BTW if you've been toying with the idea of getting a pocket PC you really have to check out the Verizon offer. For $199 bucks you get the Pocket PC with 34 meg of memory, a 34 meg card, USB cradle, charger, remote control (for playing MP3s, a head set, Leather carrying case and a bunch of software. Sweet deal. Jolly R. Blackburn http://kenzerco.com "Never declare war on a man who buys his ink by the gallon." Quote Link to comment
+Geofool
For downloaded PQ's I recommend GPXView. MS pocket street using pushpins for cache locations. Works out pretty good for me. +Geofool
Oh...and another thing, It would be a good idea to put a screen protector on if you haven't already. GF ******************************************** Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Quote Link to comment
