Going on a road trip next month and want to plan on hittng some caches on the way. Does anyone have files of all/any of the above states' caches that can open in easy/expertgps or anything else? I _really_ want to avoid downloading them all by hand..

Perhaps jeremy is almost done with the multi download option? icon_wink.gif

If they're the XML .loc's you download from geocaching.com, you can actually just type "copy file1.loc+file2.loc+file3.loc+... Total.loc". In DOS, that'll concatenate all the files into Total.loc, which will yield a file that's not perfect XML, but it'll load fine (and it's easier than installed perl on Win*).

wow.. two things came out of this thread, i learned you can concatinate files simply in dos (doh!) and jeremy is gonna finish the multi download thingy icon_wink.gif ! score.

seriously tho, that option is going to be soooooo handy, not even for planning trips like my situation, but just for finding and plotting caches in your own area..
