+GOT GPS?
I have created an Excel Spreadsheet that uses Tracklog data from MapSource pasted to the spreadsheet, that tells you how far you have hiked and driven. Can be used for Flying, Driving, Boating,Geocaching, or whatever. Link: http://members.aol.com/geoffr524/Mapsource_tracklogs_sample_sheet.xls Try it out and modify it to what you need. You can also submit an improved version to this Messageboard too if you want. Tell me here what you think of this spreadsheet, Thanks. Save a backup of this spreadsheet, before using it or making changes to it, thanks. Geoffrey Where the Stanley Cup is, and the Detroit Red Wings. +GOT GPS?
The above is an Excel 97 document, and you can load it into a newer version of Excel too. This Spreadsheet will tell you how many miles you hiked while Geocaching, and Driven around to find the caches. Quote Link to comment
+paul_stratton
Great Work! I did something quite similar for the Delorme Street Atlas software. Have a look at the GPS_Track_Log_Graphical_Data_Analysis_Toolset .zip: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/strattonpaul/lst?.dir=/Friends&.view=l Feel free to look at the Geocache Routing Tools also... They are all configured to run using Excel 97 - or later. Been There, Done Cached! Got the T-Shirt and the Hat! Quote Link to comment
