Why are Community Celebrations filtered out of the Mementos Treasures' filter?

Why are Community Celebrations filtered out of the Mementos Treasures' filter? Do Community Celebrations generate a treasure? Are they considered an Event Cache?

Any help in understanding this filter would be appreciated.

I can't speak to the filter behavior, but I can confirm that CCEs count toward the Event Mementos collection.

 

Note that there was a bug at one point where all events were failing to grant treasures because of conflicts with the collection's requirements that a qualifying cache must have a minimum of 3 Favorite points (and events cannot receive FPs). That bug was almost immediately after the collection launched, although the fix was unfortunately not retroactive.

Thanks for the quick reply moun10Bike.  I keep testing the Mementos filter using a desktop computer and the web page dashboard Treasures generated filter and no events show up, except when you remove the 3 fav point requirement. I'm guessing this means the bug is still active.  Bummer for folks looking to explore the Treasure challenges and missing out on nearby Events that should/do qualify but the map doesn't show them. We will let Event COs know so they can confirm a Treasure is available when someone attends.

The bug with Treasures awarding was fixed. It just sounds like the filter cannot handle the conflicting criteria (events can't have FPs, so they don't show up).

Filtering conflict still exists.
