nykkole Posted June 27 Posted June 27 iOS users on 9.78.0+ can now add their geocaching friends to a Collaborative List in the Geocaching® app. Owners of Collaborative Lists can add Premium members on their friends list, who have less than the maximum number of Lists on their account. Once added, collaborators can Access the Collaborative List, including on iOS, Android, and the website Add or remove geocaches from the List Remove themselves as a collaborator by deleting the Collaborative List from their List hub At this point, collaborators will not be automatically notified, so if you add someone – consider letting them know HQ will not actively participate in this thread, but will review it for feedback to assess if a feature should be further developed. +Max and 99 Posted June 28 Posted June 28 (edited) I'm surprised there is not an accept mode like a friend request when you add someone as a collaborator. There's no way to remove someone as a collaborator, you can only delete the list and end your collaboration. I do like how easy this feature is to use! Much easier than creating a list and having a friend copy it. Edited June 28 by Max and 99 2
giacaches Posted June 30 Posted June 30 @Max and 99 Good catch. The ability to remove collaborators wasn't included in this release! Thanks for your feedback and patience as we continue improving the feature. 2

+Max and 99 Posted Wednesday at 05:35 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:35 PM I just experienced my first real need for the delete feature. Max accidentally added someone to not one, but two wrong lists! So embarrassing. But we can't fix it.
+Max and 99 Posted Wednesday at 06:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:00 PM (edited) I'm having fun with this feature and seeing the benefit of it, for group geocaching, and themed geocaches I want to share with someone else. Previously they would have to go to the website and copy a list I created. This is much easier, but only if you have iOS to initiate it. Deleting a collaboration has turned out pretty easy, although I wish I could do it myself when I make a mistake. Overall a great feature. Edited Wednesday at 06:25 PM by Max and 99 1

I assume you mean GCB49F5. It seems this is one of the caches which somehow got into a state between published and unpublished. They cause problems when regular users try to add them to bookmark lists.
+msaxby Posted Wednesday at 11:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:24 PM Ahhh, This what I always thought one should be able to do with lists!! Not loving the iOS limitation, but it looks like I can start the process on an iOS device and then work on an Android device after that - not ideal, but at least the functionality that I have been looking for exists.

You are right, I tried to add GCB49F5. Here I deleted original "Published" log, and I asked reviewer to check it, is it OK And he added another "Published" log. So its mean that published caches with deleted "published" log are not published?
