If it was me I would just let them know and ask if they could delete the other five. But yes you can do it too. Just click on the edit part of the log. Quote

+SkellyCA Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 Problem is that when I click on View log it takes me to a page that just says View another cache. Here are a couple of pics. Quote
+CAVinoGal Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Are you logged in as the cache owner when you try to View Log? I get an option to Delete Log.... Quote

If you are logged in as the owner, you should be able to click on that and scroll to the bottom to the delete button. Quote

Here are a couple of pics. You can't click and view logs? Here's one of those DNF logs: https://coord.info/GL1EKCWJC That "Visit another geocache" button is part of the View Log page after the page loads fully. Maybe try another web browser. You may also opt to leave the logs like that. If there's an bug where an App is sending multiple logs in certain circumstances, it may help other Cache Owners see the extent of the issue. No big deal if you'd prefer to delete them. Edited June 26 by kunarion 1 Quote

I think the OP must be logged in to even get that page of logs. I don't see much info at all if not logged in. But it also may be a browser cache thing. Or a misbehaving plug-in. +SkellyCA Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 The reason I want to delete them is because I received this email. I guess that is because to many DNF's in a row. People have found it after these posts. Quote Hello SkellyCA, Your geocache, Niles Plaza 2: The Rebirth (GC7Y2MN), looks like it might need some attention. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of maintenance needs to be performed. This could be anything from a new logbook to replacing a missing container. Here are a few options for what to do now: Maintenance: Visit your geocache, make any needed repairs, and post an “Owner Maintenance” log so the community knows it’s available to find. Disable: If you cannot check on your geocache within a reasonable amount of time, please disable your geocache listing. Once you perform maintenance, you can enable it and post an “Owner Maintenance” log. Archive: If you decide it is time for your geocache to be permanently retired, please archive the listing and retrieve all physical stages. For tips about how to perform maintenance and to learn why Geocaching HQ sends occasional geocache maintenance reminders, please see this Help Center article. Thanks, Geocaching HQ 1 Quote

People have found it after these posts. There are several DNFs before that recent string. And one of the two "Found It" logs are not only by the cacher who did the DNFs, but the Found It log says only "DNF". And when HQ sends you an email with a list of suggestions and none of them are "Delete The Logs", then that is likely not a suitable way to address the actual email. Can you go check the cache and do an "Owner Maintenance" log? It looks like cachers were able to find it even displaced, previously. At the very least, all those individual cachers who had DNFs may be encouraged to go find it, when they see an OM. Just an idea. 2 2 Quote
+SkellyCA Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 I can go check next week. I think it's there and is fine as somebody else found it 3 days later. Quote

The low D rating should mean that it's pretty easy, but that doesn't seem to be the case. There are a few logs that mention the coords being off. And other logs about 2 containers, each with a log sheet inside. This would be an opportunity to check things to ensure the coords are good, and to pick up extra cache containers. That particular cacher is using the letters "DNF" on Find logs, even when also specifying he found it. So I'm now guessing it's not an App glitch that created extra logs, and it's safe to delete the extras (once you are able). Just beware that "deleting logs" is not always a way to fix issues. People come into this Forum all the time after creating a new problem due to log deletion. Edited June 27 by kunarion 1 Quote

I see that the title bars in your screenshot are blank...this happens to me in Chrome more often than not, and I have switched to using Edge for geocaching.com and the forums. Have you tried a different browser to view the logs? Quote
