Adding an event from Geocaching app to calendar

I just got a new phone (Samsung s25) and can't add an event directly from the geocaching app to the calendar. On my old phone, also a Samsung, whenever I got an email for a new event cache, I would open the email on my phone and click on the cache name and it would open the event cache in the geocaching app. Underneath the "navigate" and "log cache" buttons there is a "add to calendar" option. Clicking on that would automatically place the event in my calendar on my phone. With my new phone it just says "sorry, that action is not available". I'm sure it's just a setting in my phone that's not allowing me to add it to the calendar but I just can't find out why. Does anyone know how to add the event to the calendar? I can add a screen shot if that would help.

I use an iPhone and have been successful at adding geo-events to my calendar, with basically the steps you described.
